I has applied to the UC Irvines. Now I can sit back and wait for them to reject me in March or April.
Onward to the applications for Iowa, Oregon, and SJSU!

Onward to the applications for Iowa, Oregon, and SJSU!

University of Iowa of course. I read Flannery O'Connor spent some time there or led a workshop or something. And SJSU is the lovely, obvious, beautiful choice. yum.
Yuck. Southern California. I think what I can't stand about that place is the "socal" type people and the traffic. The desert itself is beautiful. Davis is pretty cool. It does get very very muggy in the summer.
It is my wish that Irvine accept you but you decide that you're too cool for Irvine (and let's face it, who isn't? Well, maybe that one social pariah you and Rosie are always mentioning) so you turn them down in favor of SJSU.
Oh, real brain twin moment when you sent me the (Coffee!) text a few days ago. My phone beeped, and I instantly thought, "Oh, it's Ellen writing (Coffee!)" I opened it to see that I was correct, then was so freaked out by our strange connection that I hid my phone in my closet.
